Courchevel Moriond 1650

Courchevel Moriond, often referred to as simply as Courchevel 1650, is a delightful and somewhat quieter part of the larger Courchevel ski resort, which is part of Les Trois Vallees ski area.

Situated at 1650m, Courchevel Moriond offers stunning views, and a more relaxed atmosphere compared to its higher-altitude neighbour, Courchevel 1850.

Known for its friendly and welcoming vibe, Courchevel Moriond retains much of its traditional mountain village charm. It has a year-round population, giving it a more authentic feel.

The resort provides excellent access to some of the best skiing in the word, with a variety of slopes suitable for all levels. It is particularly popular for its sunny slopes and less crowded pistes.

There is a wide range of accommodation options, from luxury chalets to more budget-friendly apartments, catering to different preferences and budgets.

Courchevel Moriond boasts a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops, offering everything from traditional Savoyard cuisine to more international fare.

The resort is well connected to other parts of Courchevel and Les Trois Vallees via lifts and a free ski bus service, making it easy to explore the entire ski area.

Beyond skiing and snowboarding visitors can enjoy activities such as snowshoeing, ice skating, sledging, bowling and hot air balloon rides.

Courchevel Moriond hosts one of the largest taboggan runs in Europe, over 3km, for those wanting a boost of adrenaline!

There is also access to ‘Aqua Motion’ aqua center that features pools, slides, a wave machine, climbing wall, gym and spa.

Courchevel Moriond is great for everyone, families with children and groups, you name it!
